How does the airport pickup process work?
Chauffeurs arrive at the terminal before the flight lands, position at the designated meeting point, and hold a name board so passengers can identify them immediately after clearing baggage or customs. At Sydney Airport, international arrivals at T1 are met in the arrivals hall outside gates A or B next to Travelex. Domestic passengers at T2 are met curbside outside the door closest to Carousel 5, and at T3 the meeting point is at the bottom of the escalators adjacent to Carousel 5.
At Melbourne Airport, international arrivals at T2 meet at the Chauffeurs Meeting Point sign next to the Optus shop in the arrivals hall. Domestic passengers meet at Gloria Jean’s or Carousel 3 for T1 Qantas flights, at the front of the escalator for T3 Virgin flights, and at the bottom of the escalator near the cafe for T4 Jetstar and Rex flights. Meeting point details for every Australian airport are provided via SMS on the day of travel. What vehicles are available for airport transfers?
Marquee’s fleet includes sedans, SUVs, people movers, and minibuses seating from 1 to 11 passengers across 8 vehicle types. Sedans include the BMW 7 Series, Mercedes S-Class, and Audi A8. SUV options include the Audi Q7, Mercedes GLE, and Range Rover Sport. For groups, the Mercedes V-Class carries up to 7 passengers with 5 bags, and the VW Crafter minibus seats 11 with space for 11 bags. Passengers can request a specific vehicle when booking, subject to availability.
Every vehicle in the fleet is maintained to chauffeur-service standard with leather interiors, climate control, and privacy glass. Baby and booster seats are available for $20 per seat on any airport transfer booking.
How is pricing structured for airport transfers?
Every airport transfer is quoted at a fixed rate at the time of booking, and the quoted price is the price charged for the journey. Pricing is fixed at the time of booking and does not change based on demand. Tolls and parking incurred during the transfer are additional. Payment options include credit card, direct deposit prior to travel, and account invoicing with weekly or monthly billing for approved corporate clients. All prices are GST inclusive.
After the complimentary wait period (60 minutes international, 30 minutes domestic), additional wait time is charged at $2 per minute. Residential and office pickups heading to the airport include a 10-minute complimentary wait from the scheduled pickup time.
What is the difference between a standard airport transfer and VIP Meet and Greet?
A standard airport transfer includes a chauffeur meeting you in the arrivals hall or at curbside with a name board. VIP Meet and Greet is a premium escort service that begins at the air bridge. The VIP service includes escort through immigration and baggage claim, fast-track through security lines, check-in assistance for departures, porter and baggage handling, and VIP lounge coordination where eligible. VIP Meet and Greet is available at all major Australian airports as a separate booking.
